Transpersonal Counseling

A Complementary Approach Within Mental Health Care
As more individuals are confronted with existential questions, spiritual emergence, or expanded states of consciousness (whether through therapy, intensive inner work, or psychedelic experiences), the need is growing for forms of care that extend beyond standard diagnostic frameworks. For these individuals, transpersonal counseling offers meaningful, complementary support.

Transpersonal counseling ideally works in complementarity to regular mental health care, not in place of it. Where needed, collaborative contact or case consultation is possible with respect for each professional role. The approach is integrative, trauma-sensitive, body-aware, and grounded in presence.

How will this support you or your clients?

I will support clients in the following contexts:

  • Spiritual or existential crisis (spiritual emergency)
  • Processing and integration of mystical or peak experiences
  • Inner restlessness, panic, or sensory overwhelm without a clear DSM diagnosis
  • Disorientation following expanded states of consciousness (spontaneous or induced by ketamine, MDMA, psychedelics, or plant medicines)
  • Somatic grounding and reintegration for individuals who feel “stuck in their head” and disconnected from their body
What value will this work together bring?
  • Attention to the soul dimension of psychological suffering
  • Space for meaning-making and consciousness development
  • Normalization of mystical experiences beyond the diagnostic model
  • Somatic and energetic integration support
  • A trauma-informed and human-centered approach for clients who feel misunderstood in conventional settings
This form of counseling offers a space where complexity is welcomed, sensitivity is respected, and transformation becomes possible.
